Being an active resident in a community requires a firm understanding of the goals and values that are important to  area residents, businesses and organizations. In that regard, Brookings, SD, is  like many other cities nationwide. However, unlike those cities, Brookings leaders proactively offer  education through events like the 2024 Brookings Economic Summit. Individuals can register through April 24 for the May 1 event to gain a greater understanding of the local economy.

Hosted by the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce and the Brookings Economic Development Corporation, the 2024 Economic Summit will bring business leaders and community members together to focus on the economic landscape of Brookings now and into the future.
