We are launching a new series in which we will introduce you to each of our 15 individual board members and let them share about economic development and the impact it has to the Brookings County area.
To kick things off, let’s say “Hello!” to Carla Gatzke who serves as President of our BEDC Board. When I sat down with Carla we discussed why she enjoys serving on the board, why economic development is important, and what she enjoys about living in Brookings. She is the VP of Human Resources at Daktronics and nearly a life-long member of the Brookings community.
